Default device time vs. network time

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 9700 bold on at&t and I'm using bps rather than a BES or at&t bis. The device time is consistently about 23 minutes behind the network time and I can't figure out how to get the device time to update to network time. I've changed the settings I need to indicate that I want to use network time in clock options but still no luck. Battery pulls haven't done the trick either. Any thoughts? Most of the post I've seen are related to time zones changes but that's not my case...I just can't get the device time display to use network time.

So, in Options>Date/Time you have "Set Time" set to Automatic? If you hit the menu button, and choose "Update Time" from the menu it still does not update correctly?

Are you always in the same place when you try to get it to update? Like at home? Could be the tower you are connected to.
