Default 8130 Radio turning off

Please Login to Remove!

Someone please help me!!!
I have a pearl 8130 and my radio signal keeps turning itself off. I'm really starting to get annoyed by this because it is happening approx. every 2 minutes without warning! I have done some research about this and it seems to be a common problem, and I have tried every suggestion that will "surely fix the problem" - but with no success!
I have pulled the battery, I have cleaned the battery terminals, I have updated the software, I have charged the battery (to 100%!!! And the signal turns off while it's still plugged in!!!) ...
I am at my wit's end and super frusterated!
Someone please help!!!
Thanks!

Do a wipe handheld. If that doesnt work, exchange it if under warranty still.

If the wipe handheld works, slowly put your apps back on and watch for what one is causing it

Thank you so much for your reply...

My phone is no longer under warranty, otherwise i probably would have sent it back already ;).
How do I do the "wipe handheld".
And, I haven't added any extra apps so I don't think that is the problem but I will still try this to see if it helps!

Thanks again!

Look for the two articles at blackberryfaq.com on JL_CMDER. You would use that to wipe the BlackBerry. After that, you will see 507 error, which means no device software. Then, reinstall the OS.

You can try that. I'm not sure it will help, given what you have described, and you already tried re-installing the device software.

I would try another battery, even though youi think yours appears to be good. Borrow one if you can. If it is happening every couple minutes, mauybe you can borrow a battery at a store and see what happens right there in the store.

Options>security>general options>press the blackberry button>choose wipe handheld

Dont have to go thru the whole JL commander route.
