Default Bold 9700 get it or wait??

Please Login to Remove!

I've had a bold 9700 before so I know what to expect from the device but with the rumour of the 9780 should I wait?

Looking at getting the bold in White so on that basis I know there's probably going to be a bit of a wait. But is it really worth waiting and pay possibly quite a bit extra in money for the little upgrades it's going to be getting? I don't think the hardware upgrades are going to be hugely different in the performance but then I think to myself that i could always upgrade to the 9780 at a later date if it really is that different.

Would love some peoples opinions

Depends on you and how much you want and need a BB.

Hard to say much about the 9780 yet since it isn't out in the wild yet.

I'm hoping I can keep my 9000 working till the 9780 is on ATT. 5 minutes with a 9000 and you'll gain a profound appreciation for app memory.

I would wait if you can and also learn what the money difference is between a 1 yr and 2 yr contract

I would wait as well. You might also want to take a look at the 9800. A friend of mine was showing me his and it was somewhat impressive. Having both the touch screen and regular keyboard (keyboard looks the same size the 9700) is nice.
