What are the differences between the two types of LCDs found on many part suppliers websites?

There are two models offered: 001/111 & 002/111

My questions are:

What are the differences between the two?

Is there another way to find out the lcd number without tearing the phone apart as it is complicated and I dont want to do it because I am using the phone currently?

Finally, is there one model that would be compatible for use in the place of both types? I have read on one parts supplier website that the 002/111 can work in place of the 001/111?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

No idea of the differences, or why there a multiple models of LCD for one model of phone; only that it needs to be the correct model to work with the mainboard in your model.
If the 2 were interchangeable, there wouldn't be 2 model versions.

The code on the back of the LCD is the only way to find out which LCD version you need.
