Default Blackberry & calendarBES server

Hello there,

I have one user who is using blackberry Torch. I have BES server. Sometimes what happens is that she does not see the appointment booked on her calendar on blackberry but that particular appointment is booked when she looks up in the outlook. For example she sees that appointment for the March 29 at a 11:00 am is booked in outlook. But when she looks at her blackberry it shows her that particular appointment is open. This happens only sometimes not all the time.

This is danger because if she books an appointment on her blackberry and if that was already previously booked she could overlap her appointments. No one else is having any problem only she is having this issue and it is only happening sometimes not all the time. Any help will be appreciated.

First thing I'd check in a situation like this. Check her Outlook cache file...the *.ost file Outlook keeps on hand. You can turn off all Outlook services, rename the file to something like outlook.abc, then take her out of cache mode for testing. The cache file seems to become corrupt and taking her out of cache mode, or letting the cache file be rebuilt seems to fix it. Hope this helps.
