Default Newbie-2 vital questions

Hello all thinking about traking the Blackberry plunge, but have two major concerns:

1. How does spam get handled? My POP account e-mail goes through a spam filter (Norton) that is istalled on my computer, if f I am forwarding this account to my blackberry will I get the spam as well or will it be filtered? The filter is NOT on a server but is simply on my computer.

2. If I take the SIM card out from my blackberry and temporarily use it in another non data phone (simply for talking) what happens to my e-mail? Does it sit "in que" until I am able to connect with a data device? or does it get bounced back to the sender as undeliverable?

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated, I am thinking of picking up a unit in the next few days, but am having second thoughts due to the above.

Thanks.

1-- if you had your pop client (outlook) autoforward it after the spam filter to your bwc address (@carrier.blackberry.net) then you'd be set, but it would be slow (not as cool as push).

2-- i dont know. I'd assume that it would just wait, but i don't have any idea.
