I need to hide multiple columns and rows in some of my excel spreadsheets. So far I have only seen that I can hide one at a time. Is it possible to hide several at a time?

Yes, if you drag one side of the field to cover other columns, then you can hit the 'eye' icon and hide multiple columns.
