Just got the blackberry 9790 and I had some issues with it so i decided to security wipe it 2 times. After that i noticed some parts of the os7 getting laggy. It was not as smooth as when I got it, which was 7days ago. The options menu is not as smooth, the webbrowser as well and when i unlock the phone its not as fast but everything else seems fine. Is it just me or does security wipes cause damage to the phone?

I've actually never heard of a security wipe slowing down a phone. Ever.

What applications have you installed, and how much free memory is available.

I have all the defaults that came with the 9790, free memory: 238003958bytes

Maybe you need to talk to your cell carrier, "OutofState" to see if they are having signal or tower problems.
