hi all i have searched but have seen both positive and negative comments as to wether i would get better reception, call clarity and overall better service with a blackberry 8700c compared to a black razr v3. so here the question:

will my call clarity, reception, overall service be better with a blackberry 8700c compared to my Motorola RAZR V3- Black? i have a bb with nextel 7100i and that phone makes the nextel network so much better compared to any othy other nextel phone offered except the bb7520..so before i switch completely over to cingular from nextel i wanted to know if an 8700c would get me better call clarity on my cingular account...thanks.

I have had both the V3 black and now the 8700c. I find that my BB gets the better clarity and reception, although my V3 was louder.

If you have an 8700, and load the Bharti .284 package, not many other phones will be able to hold a candle to the 8700 in terms of volume.

At least in the earpiece. The ringtones and the volume now (especially with the speakerphone) is a bigger improvement. I have little problems hearing now. But just stating that i think par for par the razr had a little louder earpiece. The 8700c is a great device. I would at least try it before you jump ship with Cingular

I love it, plus the 8700c has edge which IMO is wicked fast. Nice color screen and full keyboard. I wouldnt trade it, except for a pocket pc (just kidding)

bc with my razr i get like a static sound sometimes, i just wanted to make surte that the 8700 makes the call calrity and overall receptoion like night and day compared to my razr like the nextel 7100i did with my i560...
