Question...

If a blackberry provider doesn't currently have TCP stack (see Mark R's big book of stuff above this post), does the redirector work. having always been a Nextel guy and they have always been TCP, I am unsure of the answer here.


Basically, I can't use the BWC/BIS setup and prefer redirector. I assume it works without TCP/APN settings that are needed by 3rd party apps?

I'm not sure I am answering the question. For redirector to work (and be supported) you need to have an Exchange server account. Not sure how tht would work without TCP/IP. A service book is pushed to the handheld and that's all that is needed on that side (no APN for anything).
