Question Turning off Push Message alerts and icon?

Please Login to Remove!

I originally setup the official BB Push Weather thingie (technical term,) and it auto-updates the icon and text to show me current weather for Chicago (they only have major cities.)

How do I make the stupid tiny icon of a piece of paper with a down-arrow not appear at the top left of the screen whenever there is a weather update?

I also do not like it vibrating/making noise when it does this but haven't been able to find the Profile option that controls this behavior since I do not know what that icon is called.

Isn't it the browser profile setting that controls this?

Dunno, you tell me bud, I'm the one asking questions here! ;) I know I can get the icon to go away by clicking on the Push Weather icon and then quickly exiting out of the browser. But I'd like to forgo even that.

Have you checked whether what ShaneToronto suggested works?

I think if you change the browser settings under your profiles it should answer that problem. I would think so.
