Anyone had luck w/ any IM client on a Cingular 8700c? I can't get Ramble or Causerie to work at all, problem is connecting.

Have you edited your TCP settings?

Have you tried YakOn!
It works perfectly on my 8700c.

They all work if properly configured.

Ramble, Yak-On, Verichat, IM+, Google Talk, Web Messenger etc.

I keep getting tunnel errors. What settings would I need to change?

I'm using IM+ with a Cingular 8700c and love it. The only minor thing missing is the ability to have multiple connections to a single service. They have both a BES and WAP version, so you should be able to get it to work.

I also looked at Verichat and Causerie Messenger, but didn't like the annual fees they charged (got both to work though). They have some neat features, but only if you're willing to pay.

Also, check out BlackBerry Instant Messaging FAQ

NOTE TO ALL - New link for Causerie Messenger!
