Hey all. I am sure the moderators have thought about this, and maybe its just not possible, but what if a section is created where actual articles can be read and they arent threads. I think it would be really convenient for people, especially new people, if they could go to the "how to" section and read directions on how to setup their APN and a WAP browser, etc.

it's been discussed. at some point (hopefully in the near future, although i have atleast 3-4 business trips planned in the next 1-2 months around the world), the entire Guides forum will be converted to read-only and overhauled completely.

Another idea....which I am sure has been thought about is this:

can you do a dedicated downloads page in which either users can post their songs, themes, etc or the users can submit these to the mods who then post them? This would be so much more convenient, especially if it was sorted by which bb compatibility it had to find the stuff you wanted.

Awesome site....I'm freaking addicted on reading about my bb and learning more....the IT in me I guess....

yes, i agree. especially for the themes thread. it's 71 pages long and getting longer. it would be nice if that thread was requests only, and the guys who are making the themes can put them on some sort of site where everyone else can download them without having to search through 71 pages.

This would swallow a lot of bandwidth and cost a lot for Tom to host as you'd get a lot of people uploading content. Things such as posting images are housed on some of the mods other sites and for posting individual stuff like images there are sites like image shack and Yahoo Groups have a good section for uploading ringtones.

I'm sure the mods can figure out something thats both economical and has ease of use....
