Default Nextel Mexico BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, how are you? I am a new user for this forum and I am a Nextel user in Mexico, i have been using an i830 and i have the Data plan, so i can access my email and the web no problem from this phone. I recently bought a 7520 from e-bay USA, inserted my SIM card, but i dont see any browser icons on the BB, when i try to open send an email or access the BB web help site, i get a message that says that i dont have the service books needed for the browser. Nextel Mexico doest give you any support for BB phones. i created an account on the Nextel/sprint US site and registered the BB and tryed to send the service books, but since i dont have access to the web on the BB i dont know how to input them in the BB. I received a ETP.dat file on my PC email, so i believe the service books are there. Can you please help me providing any hints or ideas based on your expertise? Thank you very much. Hugo Garcia. Mexico city. [email address]. Thanks again

Do they have a BlackBerry Data plan? That's what you need to get access to the web on your phone.

No BlackBerry Data plan no data, end of story. BlackBerry's require a BlackBerry Data plan to communicate, there's no way around it. Call Nextel and have them add a BlackBerry Data plan to your account and you'll be good to go. FWIW Nextel requires it BlackBerry customers to have a BlackBerry Data plan so if you don't add it they'll do it for you...

Nextel Mexico doesn't have a data plan for Blackberry at all, i believe i won't be able to use it for e-mail, only for Direct connect and phone. Thanks.
