I've had my blackberry 7130e for about 2 months now and it works great. One issues i have is we don't have BES at my office we just set a rule in outlook to forward anything to my office email to my blackberry address. Works well for us, here is where I run into trouble. I have a laptop that I sync to. A lot of my work is in the field so it makes more sense for me to carry calandar and what not. My default mail program (personal email) is thunderbird and everyday I get ~ 30 emails from RIM with a subject like this: RIM_bca28a80-e9c0-11d1-87fe-00600811c6a2 and a message like this: This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry Handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

How do I stop this? I can't check my office email from my laptop without connecting to a terminal server through remote desktop so I dont understand why thunderbird is effected? Any suggestions?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

That message comes when your blackberry is registering with a new bb server. Since you don't have a bes server, I would suggest not trying to forward to your BB, but to your personal email and then registering your personal email with your blackberry.

I can try that but I don't have my personal email (thunderbird) forwarded to my blackberry, just my email at work. Thats whats so confusing to me, my laptop just syncs the outlook calandar so thats why its confusing.

Well, all blackberrys come with it's own email. You should verify that you set up the email on the blackberry correctly.
I don't think it has anything to do with your syncing, since the sync doen't sync your email unless you've set up the desktop manager with enterprose and not personal email (check it and make sure you didn't make that mistake).
