I have problem which has all of a sudden started happening for no reason and that is that when I set appointments in the calender and set a reminder to go off 15 minutes beforehand, it's not 'reminding' me on the home screen like it used to a few weeks ago. I get nothing. I have a blackberry 7290 and I don't even ever connect it with a computer. I have tried the help screen and playing around with the options but nothing is working and now I need you guys to help me! The reason I got a blackberry is for this option so please give me some advice, as I'm forgetting lots because of this! thanks.

Check on the HH under Calendar > Options and ensure that the "Default Reminder" is not set to "none".

Assuming that is set to 15 min, or whatever time, try hard resetting the BB [pull the battery and reinsert it]

Are you on a BES? If so what version? Are the reminders popping in Outlook?
