Default Delete NewsClip

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Guys,

I made the mistake of downloading NewsClip on my 8700c and now I want it off and I don't see it under my applications in the Settings panel. Can you tell me how I can get rid of it please without messing up my OS.

Wirelessly posted (Cingular 7130c: BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You should be able to rove it with the application loader in desktop manager.

I was also looking to remove it. Newsclip looks nice and works ok, but Berry Bloglines is free and in some ways worked better if not as nice.

I don't know why we should not be able remover it from the advanced option on the BB its self :(

Cool how to delete newsclip

1) If you are using a 8700 series device, select Settings>Options>Advanced Options>Applications>Modules. For other Blackberry Devices select Options->Applications and then select "Modules" from the menu.

2) Locate the modules that start with "com_virtualreach_connect_..."

3) Individually delete all of the modules that start with this module name

Default why newsclip is a ripoff

Newsclip is a ripoff because they charge a monthly fee for a utility that pulls down free news feeds.
In the pc world most newsreaders are free if they put it out for a $10 or $15 shareware fee it would be. Reasonable.

Thanks phodara that worked for me! I am too new to BB's to look in the modules.

BTW option94 you can not remove it via the desktop manager it does not show up as an installed application. I also think its a bad practice for a company to not install it so that it shows as an application.
