I was rushing to turn off the power and somehow lost the icon. I don't know whether its hidden or deleted. Can some one guide me to find it?

Try to do

and click your trackwheel and select Show All

That should show you what application or icon that is hidden that you can unhide.

A great way to "clean-up" or hide applications that you don't use or already have a shortcut assigned to them.
