Default Best Calendar App--New User

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I'm a new BB user, without the BB enterprise or other email plan--just using the BB for a phone and calendar (at the moment).

I'm wondering what calendar users would recommend. The BB calendar, MS Outlook's calendar synced with the BB, or other.

Also, if I'm using the BB calendar, is there software that opens the BB calendar on your PC, allowing you to enter appointments, new contacts, tasks, etc. there, and then syncing these with the phone? I was suprised that the Destop Manager software doesn't seem to have an option to open the calendar on a PC. I read the calendar and destop software entries in the users manual, and this topic isn't covered there either.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

Wirelessly posted (8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

The BB Desktop Manager syncs with data on your computer. I utilize MS Outlook which I would say that is the norm. For ease of entry I would enter your appts in MS Outlook then sync through DM to your BB.

Thanks for the suggestion! Do I set up the calendar by selecting the "synchronize icon" in the Desktop Manager, going to the configuration tab, selecting configure synch, and then the appropriate application (e.g. Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.)?
