Default Picked up the 8703e from verizon today.

After spending sometime with the 8703e from verizon. this is a good BB. Havnt test out the BIS setup yet. But google maps is rock solid. Cant wait for GPS (if it ever happens verizon). MiniOpera, well I was not that impressed. Pages that will recognize the phone you are using do not seem to work with Opera. Until I see something differet I'll stick with the normal browser. Its better if you turn on style sheets anyway.

I tested one out at the store and worked great. My one thought that it looked extremely cheap. I've had the 7250 for a while now but when i first saw the 8703 in the store, I thought it was one of the dummy phones. Sure it works great on the inside but looks cheap on the outside.

Ok.. maybe it';s been a while since I bought a new one, but am I the only one that did not get a cradle for the 8703? Every other one I have came with the OEM cradle as the standard part of the package.

CRADLE? Do you mean the belt holster? if so, then yes, you should have received that...

This is the 2nd bb in a row that hasn't come with one (8703e, 7250). The only ones that I've gotten with a cradle were the 957 and 7750. I just take them from my friends who are constantly upgrading their tmobile bb's - all of them come with a cradle that fit my 7250 perfectly. I still use them for the 8703e because it is all I have, but the fit is terrible

There are a variety of desktop cradle/chargers you can get on line.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8703e: BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I'm fine with the usb cable that comes with it. But I've never seen a cradle either. So I may not know what I am missing.
