Question Why wireless activation can not work?

Please Login to Remove!

I setup testing BES environment, it's IP address is "192.168.0.167", it can access Internet via ADSL plus Switch HUB.

I can active BB via DM, but I can not use wireless activation. After I setup activation password for test user, and I input email&password in enterprise activation interface, but i doesn't work, just stay in "activing ".

What could be the resaon? thanks.

What mail server you using? Notes, exchange, ???
Are you using the option "Set activation password" or "Generate and email activation password"?
Make the pass something easy "aaaa" and set it for max time. Check the users State Database (if there is one yet) to see if anything has come through.
Rim says anywhere between 20min and 4 hours for wireless activation. It Never takes that long that I've seen. 45 minutes tops depending on address book size. And I've seen some !HUGE! address books.

Default oh...

I use Lotus Domino. yes, I use "Set activation password". But as a testing server, only 4 people in address book, so the address book is very small, why it will take so long time? I tried to wait for acitvation, but after a long time, it said failed...

Check the user's mailbox for a message that has an ETP.dat attachment, if that doesn't show up then it's likely you need to reconfigure your spam filter.
