So you have a data plan and internet access. Do you have the service book IPPP for 5 click?

While you read all the posts, have you disabled the MDS proxy (under BB weather > options, place check mark in the box); set the APN (main screen options > advanced > TCP, with your carrier settings; and then remove your battery and do a reboot.

Try those and let us know?

Try getting version .75 from my tips site. Don't think it will matter but try including the items in this thread.

And set your APN? And a battery pull reset after all that.

try two things: only wap as the username, save, battery pull reboot. If not, remove username and pw completely and reboot. I have TMO, and don't knoe the cingular settings. But some don't require username and pw.

Cool.

I've had the same frustration setting mine up also. But it does work, believe me, and is a good program.

The BBWeather program locks up if you hit the menu button at first.

Remove the battery and reboot the phone.

Now follow these instructions Exactly.

1. Click on BBWeather.
2. When it says error: no weather profiles, etc. Click on the Pearl to select ok. (do not click on the menu button)
3. Now click the Pearl again to get the menu.
4. Select "Options" and add your weather programs.
5. You can now use the menu button whenever you want.

I am having the same problem, when I click on the options button, it says current profile empty, when I try to create a profile, it asks for a location id, I've tried putting my zip code, and stl for St. Louis, but neither work, any ideas?

thanks!

Use zip code for location ID and then type in a description for the profile. AFter you do that what is the error you are getting?
