Is there any way to set an image to full screen as a background? Whenever I do it it always gets cropped at the top and bottom.

i think this applies to the OT. when i set my images as background, the theme image is still along the top and bottom. I'm guessing that's just how it is? is there a transparent theme?

Some themes have semi transparent banners, some have solid ones. Your best bet to find out what works fore you is to try them out.

Good question.

I noticed that the included Blackberry themes have the background split where the upper and lower sections are, but it appears at first glance to be one large picture.

I'd love to know how to achieve this without having to pay money for additional themes.

Change the Theme to one of the BB themes. Mine came with the AT&T theme and it cropped the image like you described. Once I changed it to the BB theme any 360x240 image I used worked perfectly.

Note: When you change the theme a lot of hidden icons will appear. you will have to clean things up but it works fine.

As was mentioned before, screen size is 320x240

I've had success saving the pic on the BB and then opening the pic in media and then zooming in slightly before setting it as background image. Not quite the same as resizing but it's close.

using a blackberry theme works to get the full size image showing as a background but I hate the icons. anywasy I can keep the at&t icons and have the full image?
