i just threw my PCstarcrap phone away...what a turd.

on to the issue...i was trying to get my blackberry (8703e) to connect and accept my plantronics (disc 665) headset, but it is a no go. it was picking up my phone before i trashed it. the headset is on, fully charged, and nothing still...

have tried about 30 times....

am i missing something (oh, and yeah, the bluetooth on the BB is enabled...)

Is the Plantronics in pairing mode? I know each headset has specific instructions on how to put it in pairing mode. Usually it involves pressing and holding some button.

yup i got it...had to remember...have to hold the on button as you turn it on, and not release it once powered up...

Can anyone tell me how to shut this Plantronics 665 off ???

I got it off ebay and I didn't get more then a quick start guide
that breaks down the LED flashing indicators.....I turned it on
and couldn't get my BB 8703e into discovery mode fast enough.

I've tried about 12 times to get it to pair and it won't pair...it's aggravatin.
How do I shut this Plantronics 665 off to turn it back on into pairing mode ???

So far I've held down the call button for longer then 10 seconds.....it won't shutoff
I've also put it back in the charger thinking it would go off......no go there either....stays on once you uncradle it.
