Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Has anyone had this problem... I'm surfing the net and put the phone down for a little while, when I want to look something else up I open the browser and get no little connection arrows at the top left like it's trying to connect. So I power off and back on, still no connection arrows. Only after powering off and removing the battery can I get it to connect back up. It's like it gets stuck and confused or something. Also it doesn't seem to have anything to do with how much signal strength I have either, it can happen with full signal.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yup. All the time...at least 3 times a day or so under heavy use. An alt-shift-del reset fixes the problem.

Is this using VZW or your BES for the browsing? I haven't had this problem once through my BES. I'm trying to replicate it using the Internet browser through VZW and not able to (yet). -Pk

Default Same problem

If I use put the BB down for a few hours. I will loose internet connection. The only way I can get it back is to remove the battery.

I was wondering if it has somethng to do with an application I have called xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Any help would be great as this is very furstrating.

I don't have this problem, hours have passed with browsing, stepping away, etc. and I have a few third-party applications too. Javascript enabled, nothing horribly draconian about the policy on the device. Nada.

Hrmm. Perhaps it's time to post version numbers of software, settings details, etc. to try to duplicate. -Pk

Is there some way to get a Program and Version list copied to the clipboard? If so I would be glad to post mine and see if a connection could be found.

I had the same issues yesterday. Removed battery and put it back in fixed it.
