Default This is probably a stupid question...

Please Login to Remove!

I can't seem to find a way to move my contacts to my SIM card all at once...

Do I really have to go one by one and copy them over?

Just curious...

Thanks!

So the stupid answer is... BlackBerry should create a way to transfer all your contacts at once.

I agree it's a bit silly. You can, however, sync all your contacts to your PC. Then those could be sync'd to another phone. Outlook is the easiest app to sync to, but I guess you could get it in other formats. Possibly with a translation step.

Since you asked, it's a stupid question because of your vague thread title and the fact that you did not use BBF's search feature.

Search and you will find numerous discussions about this.

Search and you will eliminate your frustration because you will find my post where I direct you to a Site that sells SIM card readers for about $8 and it includes a program that allows you to access the SIM card and add, delete or edit contacts.

Search using "SIM transfer" or "sim reader" and the threads should pop up.

Bonus Comment: Also note that in the posts we discuss that the SIM has limitations as to how many contacts the SIM can hold [think it is about 250] and that you can only put a name and phone number contact info on to the SIM, no e-mail addresses, etc.

Alright, thank you for splashing out my ignorance...

Anyways, the sim card program that you have kindly directed me too, will it import numbers or do I have to redo them all? heh

Thanks!
