Default Anyone ever attend BES classroom Training

Please Login to Remove!

I was thinking of taking BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Software Version 4.0 Advanced Administration 1, and 2 from:

BlackBerry - BlackBerry | Wireless Handheld Devices, Software & Services from Research In Motion (RIM)

Just wondering if anyone has taken any these classes and if they are beneficial?

Thanks

My company brought RIM in and did this training. I sat in the back and kinda just helped the instructor adapt the lesson to my environment... if you are an advanced BES admin yourself, it wont do to much... however the rest of my deparment learned a LOT. I'm glad we did it... I was quite tired of being the only person who could do anything with BlackBerry. I can finally assign backups and go on vacation now ;)

I would say this... if you are comfortable digging through your BES logs (not app logs, BES logs) and finding and troubleshooting problems... you dont need this. If you have an error and you cant figure out if it is your Dispatcher, Agents, or Controller logs to look in... take the class.

It's a decent class - the prizes were nothing to write home about

It focuses alot on how the bes communicates with the handhelds etc etc. Also opens your eyes as to what it is capable of.

I would attend again.
