I dropped my deivce and have some very minor scratches on the face of the fone. You can only see them when the light hits the scratches just right...they are very minor.

I began readin about CD/DVD scratch repair kits....IPOD users have had great results using such products.

I was wondering if such a product would be effective on a BB8830 screen....?

Which one would be best? Has anyone had positive results with similar products?

LOTS of patience!

I found displex to not be able to remove but the very smallest of scratches. Try a very mild abrasive, like a auto cleaning wax or fiberglass scratch remover to get the bulk of the scratch removed and the Displex used afterwards. I prefer an ultra fine auto cleaning wax at the end to finish the area.

Just be carefull to not rub on the painted surfaces!
