I wanted to clean up the programs on the taskbar so i I searched former posts about the alt + escape button and seem to have come across a snag.
I can not get blackberry messenger and PTT to close. I got into each app and close them but they are still showing up on the taskbar. Any suggestions??

You cannot close those two apps. They will remain running in the background.

There is a thread around here somewhere with instructions on removing the PTT app if you don't want it on your BB.

I believe there are some programs that stay running in memory. It is the same on my BlackBerry 8700g. The BlackBerry Messenger, Browser and Messages always stay open.
