Default Jabra 250 Bluetooth not working on VZW 7250

Please Login to Remove!

My bluetooth Jara 250 worked on day on with my verizon blackberry 7250. On my second day with it, the BB does not connect with it. I think that it is the headset since I can communicate with the BB via bluetooth.

Anyone having issues with the Jabra 250 Bluetooth headset? Is there a known problem?

Thanks,

I notice that my 7250 disconnects from the Jabra 250 if there is too much "stuff" between the Balckberry and the headset. If I'm sitting in the car with the 7250 on my left hip and the Jabra on my right ear, it does not always connect, but if I move the 7250 to the center console it works fine.

Every once in a while my 7250 will disable Bluetooth for no reason. This of course causes me to lose my connection with the Jabra 250. When I go into options/bluetooth it shows disabled and I can't manually reenable it. Taking the battery out and reinitializing fixes it. The problem is very spurious, so I haven't bothered going through the pain to get it resolved. I am posting it here though to let you know that you might check the status of your bluetooth. Otherwise the 250 works very well with my 7250 other than the fact that it picks up lots of ambient noise (really lousy in the airport).

I have had this happen to me twice. The first time, about a month ago, I did take the battery out and reinitialize and the problem fixed. This last time it happend (It was working fine during the day, I turned it off while at an appointment. When went to turn on the next day, would not connect) I tried doing the same thing and it did not correct the problem, in fact I ended up with a JV error due to BBToday application and had to wipe device and reinstall apps (did not reinstall BBToday). Now my device is working except for the Jabra headset. Bluetooth is enabled on device, and in the Options it shows my 250 headset as a paired device but when I select Connect - the connection fails.

I'm afraid to delete the device from the paired listing as I'm afraid I would get it back.

Trusted = Yes, that might help once paired though if it won't pair initially then there is some kind of other problem

I've only had mine a week, but no issues, just found out I could "trust" it, that solved my only hassle of having to accept "yes" the connection every time I turned it on/off again.

250v, and loving it.
