I heard a rumor that it wouldn't even have Rev. A. I found this odd because of all the Euro GSM and HSDPA chips added. If this is Rev. A, I would be psyched enough.

Do you tell yourself that because you are with TMO

That is an overrated argument. If you want to say I want a EVDO BB for tethering or Verizon works better in my area that makes sense. The network as a generalization is a tired statment.

That...

For me it is tethering that is the make or break. From a phone standpoint EDGE, EVDO, HSDPA are pretty much the same for my uses.

My personal opinion is this phone is only worth it with Rev. A. At least give us something to want it more than the GSM/EDGE Curve. (I realize EVDO Rev. O is faster, but not nearly fast enough for...

I think the specs that had been released a few weeks ago, stated UMTS 850 ,1900, 2100. That would mean TMO will miss the boat on the 3G side with this device.

I agree. When you start to hear Q1 2008 as a release date and nothing more firm than that, it is easy to believe that Q1 will eventually turn into Q2 without a CMDA Curve.

I hope it is similar to the curve, but I have a feeling the first 3G BB will more closely resemble the 8800 series so they can fit a larger battery. I agree with Mark that the EDGE HSDPA toggle...

I am at the point now where I am waiting for either a HSDPA BB or CDMA Curve with EVDO (hopefully REV A). Which ever comes first will get my business.
