Wireless synch for tasks and contacts

Running BES 4.1 with Exchange 2003; only one handheld which is a 7290. Outlook is the desktop email client and the desktop manager software is the most recent available from Cingular.

Task synch problems

Whenever I synch up via Desktop Manager, the handheld updates Outlook's tasks to include a start date and due date...my tasks in Outlook don't have these fields and no matter how many times I change...

Closing Desktop Manager bungs up Outlook

I use BES Express 4.1 and recently shifted my Outlook mail delivery from a .pst file to my Exchange mailbox...so am now using an .ost file and cached mode with Outlook.

I keep the unit cradled...
