Default Question about DIIOP task and BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

I know that in BES 5.0 the DIIOP task must be running on at least one IBM Lotus Domino server in the domain, but I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what happens if the server that is running DIIOP were to become unavailable. Would this only impact the accounts that are authenticating into the BAS with Domino authentication?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Default Re: Question about DIIOP task and BES

The immediate obvious impact would be that nobody would be able to login using their Domino accounts. The BES HA does not cover failover to another Domino DIIOP server.
