Currently if a user gets a new device for whatever reason all he/she needs to do is connect it with DM running and be connect to our network. Then the software asks if you wanna switch from pin xxxxxxxx to new pin xxxxxxxx and then it activates it on our bes and away the user goes with no IT intervention. I wanna block this so that they can only activate a new device via Ent Act which requires an IT person to initiate the Ent Act passwd. Can this be done???

There is a setting in IT policy that will stop them doing that.

I think it's under the Desktop section.

More specifically the policy rule is called Desktop Allow Device Switch. It requires BES v4.0+. Set it to False to prevent users from switching to use other BlackBerry devices.
