Recurring Calendar Events Issue

After upgrading my 8300 from 4.2.2 to 4.5 (the version stickied above), I'm finding that my recurring events are now slopping over two-days instead of one. But it's only happening on my handheld, not on MS Outlook. They showed correctly before the upgrade, but are wrong now. Is it somehow related to the time zone? I'm in US Pacific (-8 hours). Any suggestions how to cure it? I checked the Synch features on my desktop 4.5 but am stumped. Thanks.
