Default Blackberry Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have approximately 27 users. Our top management have directed to start using blackberry messenger among these 27 users. my problem is, I am the only person who manage the BES. To go to every users and adding in one by one users for all blackberry users are quite tedious... it might took a week because these people are mobile users... they use to travel a lot.. do we have any tools that can be use that could possibly simplify the process? any suggestion are highly appreciated. thanks in advance..

You could *try* having them go to blackberry.com/messenger from their browser. If that doesn't work, then the only other way to install it is by running the Application Loader to load it. There is no way to push it out to them, unfortunately.

first of all, im so sorry for "tripple"ing my post.. the proxy is making me crazy.. i did refreshed the browser for 3 times. so sorry once again..

back to the topic. basically the apps is already there. its all installed by default. we are using curve 8310 with 4.2 os. but the problem is, to add in the user in the contact list on the bb messenger it tedious.. need to add one user at a time. then wait for them to accept the invitation. to configure this on 27 mobile users is.. errr..hmm.. huh... i might need the whole week... so im thinking of, MAYBE there are more simple way to do it. thanks..

This is a manual process.

The only way I could see you possibly getting around this is taking a backup of a BB with *just* BB Messenger contacts set (everything else default), and then restoring the data to another HH.

You may be able to do some hacking with .ipd backup files, but I've not played with this, so I cannot speak authoritatively on it.
