Default Contact notes during call?

Please Login to Remove!

Back in my Treo days, I used an indispensible app called TreoStar. In a nutshell, you basically enclose notes or reminders using markup in the Notes field for a specific contact. When you call the contact, the notes or reminders will show up right on the call screen just after the connection is made.

Here's a link to the product page: TreoStar

To duplicate this functionality on my Blackberry, I would have to back out to the launcher screen from the call, go to Contacts, and open the record to view notes. It works, takes longer, and if I'm not on handsfree, the callee would need to wait a few seconds of silence while I do this. Anyone know if there is an equivalent for the Blackberry?

Thanks!

Just what I do...

I have 2 types of notes, reminder notes I don't need to see, and notes to remind me of the person (i.e. Diane from BoA).

For the less needed notes, I use the address book, for the notes that I need to recognize the person (i.e. where they're from etc.) I put it in the name field. Usually the font comes out small with a long name, but I've always had it all show up on the screen, so I just use shortcuts (i.e. BoA = Bank of America) and that way when they call it shows up...

I know this doesn't answer your original question, but maybe it will help you a little...
