Default Can't enter password to unlock Pearl floating ABC top right corner

Please Login to Remove!

My pearl locks after 15 minutes and it has locked with the floating ABC in the top right corner which appears to change how my password normally is entered. I have not figured out how to change it back to SureType mode from the unlock screen, menu button doesn't appear to work at the locked screen.

Please help

Press the shift key to remove the ABC symbol.

But I believe that is normal for a PW entry box.

Normally when entering passwords for other apps or web I would agree. But normally when I type the password to unlock the screen the Floating ABC is not present. The reason I believe it is a problem is because it is not accepting my password even though it is what I normally type in for the last 6 months. Shift didn't work it put it in num mode unless I pressed the wrong key is shift different then the alt key?

Not sure what happened but what fixed it is when I connected the BB Pearl to the BB Desktop manager entered the password on the computer to access, after PC and BB finished communicating I was then able to enter my password on the device and it unlocked.

Will mentioned that the first thing I did that didn't work was remove the battery to reboot the pearl but that didn't work it came back up in the same mode.

Just in case someone else runs into this problem.
