Default Bezel creak anybody?

Please Login to Remove!

Day 3 with the BOLD and already the bezel starts to creak. I'm definitely not the most gentle with this thing but I haven't dropped it either. I don't think it should be creaking already. The creak comes from the top near the mute switch.

Anyone else experiencing this? Also had a minor software glitch this am as well that didn't pull up my Contact lists when I was forwarding/composing emails. Worked again on a reset but still quite frustrating.

read in another thread about a creak near the menu button but not near the bezel. interesting.

My 9000 top creaks from day 1, but not an issue as I never use the mute button so I forget about it. My 8800 on the other hand, creaks all over and I had to resolve by using a hard case.

I am hoping that Sedieo comes out with a larger capacity battery but no that much larger that it requires a new back. I got the one that fit the Curve and it was slightly thicker and made the cover fit perfectly. Did not give me more power bu thre cover fit great!

at least with sedios bigger battery the back door wont look funny anymore, as the battery door doubles as the back of the device. no more funny humps haha.

Funny you say that cause mine has the exact same creak when I push down on the top of the chrome bezel. No big deal for me though. Now if it was creaking from the sides it would bother me.

I fixed my top bezel creak! Just put small pieces of tiny scotch tape around the tiny hooks (attached to the battery cover) and it is completely gone!!

The creaking noise comes from the top part of the bezel rubbing against the two small hooks, the scotch tape dampens the rubbing and my BB9000 is now totally creak free!
