I have the 8703e, and I have it set to viberate each time I get a email (Several hundred a day) how can I set it only to ring for a phone call and not to do anything when an email comes in - but I only want this to be temp. not all the time aka a one time event

Edit your current profile, or create a new one with the alerting preferences that you decide.

I don't think there's any way to accommodate that need. You'd have to have two different profiles and manually switch between them.

There should be a "Phone Only" profile.

Like Penguin3107 said, create a new profile and set it up for the phone notification to be ring-only and the email alert to be "none". You have to change between profiles manually, but that should be pretty easy.
