i dont know but to help if ur just gonna send a text set up a bogus yahoo and use messanger or email them the text. just have to put in their number @vzwpix.com for a verizon mms atleast i can do that to a buddy. then u dont have to worry about it showing who you are. just an idea

You can also go to most service providers and send text messages that way too.

I cant submit links since I am still a real newbie, but if you go to your favorite search engine and type 'AT&T text message', and same for Verizon and T-Mobile, it will give you the actual website to send text messages from and I am sure you could put all zeros if you didnt want someone to know it's you sending it.

Thats what has worked for me with friends that have different services than I do and don't have unlimited text messages available.

Options::SMS Text allows you to set the callback number for SMSs. But I'm not sure why you'd want it to be something other than what you can be reached at. (Don't try this for really hiding your identity -- Your carrier still knows who sends what messages to where and will cheerfully turn over that information to anyone with a subpoena. They'll do that with IP addresses and websites that send text messages as well.)
