Hey guys, got my Blackberry Bold a couple of days back. I downlaoded google maps and when I try to tun the application, it just loads half way and stops there. Now, as for Blackberry maps, I understand that it comes pre-installed for the Bold. I can't seem to find the application? Where is it loaded at?

If it's any help, I don't have a Blackberry data plan. Do I need it before Google maps will work on it?

Google Maps requires a data plan. So does BlackBerry Maps.

Right. So any other mapping applications work on wi-fi instead? And, where's the blackberry maps application on the phone? Can't seem to get that figured out.

You can try mobile Gmaps but its pretty klunky. Everything else requires a data plan.

Bbmaps requres a service book in order to show up on the device. A service book requires a data plan.
