Oh boy. New problem. Not only did Docs-to-go become M.I.A., but now the little red asterisk only shows up in the main messages folder when I get a message and not in the individual email folder. That was really important for me to know exactly which email came in since I have 7 email addresses on my bb!

Ok, the little red star is easy to fix just pull the battery.

If your OS is not listed in the Software box within DM, then you need to reinstall it again, even if it's on your PC. DM is not seeing it.

I did that twice and even tried re-sending the service books.

Oh nooooo. I wonder why it decided to go AWOL.

OK, I will try this later in the day and keep you posted. Thanks for your help!

Default Update

OK, I re-installed 4.5.0.81 on my PC and tried updating. I still only see the list of third-party software and it doesn't allow me to check or uncheck the other apps. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!

Corey, thanks for just about the most valuable advice I ever received in a user forum!!! I first read through the whole thread you referenced and found lots of success stories. Then I went ahead and updated my BB. As far as I can tell, everything is OK, and I now have Documents To Go and HTML email! The only rework I had to do on the BB was organizing the icons into three super-folders that I had created on the old OS. These didn't get retained through the upgrade process.
