In the 3 months or so that I've been here I've seen a few instances where the first reply in a thread is an authoritative (by either mod status or high post count) "it can't be done", when the truth is that it CAN be done. The point is that things are constantly changing, nobody knows everything, and what was impossible yesterday might in fact be possible today (or what worked yesterday may not work today).

True, I have been wrong and corrected multiple times, it's all a learning process.

But that was not the point of this thread, and I think you are overlooking the fact that of over 148,000 threads posted here, and 90% of them dealing with device issues, 99% of those are answered correctly in the first five posts. Those are my percentage estimates, and I probably underestimated.

What's this unanswered question that you're referring to? I've looked at all the threads you've started and didn't find one that wasn't answered. Not liking the answers your get isn't the same as not getting an answer...

You have no threads with unanswered questions.

So far, all you are doing is trolling.

How pitiful! You're the only one whose questions don't get answered?

At least 3 threads asking the same question (about a wallpaper) but you don't like the answer because you would have to put some effort into doing what you want. Rather than spending your time learning how to create your own themes, you post the same question two more times after you got the answer within a half hour of your first post.

Another post that asks how to find sites for themes -- there's a search button at the top of BBF, the main page lists forums where you can find these, and a simple google search yields even more. But again, you would have to do something rather than have someone give it to you.

And then to complain about how to post pix when the answer was on the screen where you wrote the post!

Nothing can be done on a BB unless you can and will read. (Note: the actual grammar is not the issue. I've seen excellent, instructive posts where I still need clarification because of grammar since English isn't the posters first language. But when I'm the one needing help, it's my responsibility to get the point across as to what I need.)

But I'm glad I read this thread because I learned two things. First I'm a real newbie, not only to BB, but also to using these forums and I didn't know what trolling was until now (thanks NJBlackberry for stating it). And second, pay more attention to the username, perhaps you were trying to tell us something with that from the very beginning?!

Mr. or Ms. peste still never referenced any unanswered questions. Therefore they must be here strictly to complain, without being constructive. Useless and unnecessary. He/she will not be missed.

i am sure that the guy just wanted his questions answerd and thats it. he or she did not want search or do any work. sorry it does not work like that on any forums . the whole idea behind a forum is to share issue and solve issues you are haveing. after you do some work if the issue is not solved and shows you have tried then i am sure few of us will help you out.

I know I'm late but "peste" is much like you're cursing/cussing out here (where I'm at).
I don't know if he's from around here though.

Thank you for mentioning this. I know I didn't mean to offend anyone with my comment -- I was simply thinking of trolling as being a pest. Can't say what the OP meant by the username.
