Default Confusion....

Go easy on me fellas...I am currently under contract through AT&T and I have an iPhone. I went to the AT&T store to get some more info on the Bold today. The lady asked if I was a current contract customer, blah blah blah. She said the price was $550, is this correct? I've seen that figure out there, but I was under the impression the Bold would be $399 with a $100 rebate. Did I read and misunderstand the pricing? Do only new customers get that price?

$550 is the "no contract" price. The $399 with $100MIR is for new subscribers or people that are no longer under contract. Since you are under contract with your iPhone, you would have to pay the full retail price of $550.

If the OP is still inside 30 day return window on his... how did you put it so eloquently? Crapple??

This should invalidate the current contract term and allow the OP to initiate a new contract with a new contract price tier.

Other than that the colorful reply you received would be accurate. If you are under contract you cannot get a "good deal" on this device.

Where did the OP say he was still in the 30 day window?
