It will be released by VZ on the 15th. I had two different reps in two different stores tell me that. I guess keeping these things a secret have gone away now that competition is becoming so fierce. Of course that probably really means the 14th and that date has been rumored for quite some time.

Not sure about the 15th, VZW store rep said the 23rd for a launch party and they said for sure it will be launched on a Sunday. Also, I did the preorder at a local bestbuy to lock me in as VZW didnt really guarantee a phone when the storm hits. Also, the preorder is refundable at BB

You have to realize that the Storm hasn't even been official for a month yet. Most consumers are just now hearing about it. Only people on forums know so much about it and have been waiting a while. Everything is pretty much on track. Patience.

Yeah, that is what it appears to be when I went to BB to get the preorder, I was the 2nd and yesterday was the first day it was announced preorder is/was available.

my friend is a regional manager for vzw and its still the 15th!!

my wife's dm came in and said they needed to get more ppl in on the 16th and that the techs are all coming in early for a meeting and an event.
