I upgraded to 4.5 on my 8120 about 2 months ago. After the upgrade, I noticed that every morning my email will stopped being pushed to my phone around 8:00AM. Calls and text messages come through fine, but no email. However, if I access the Internet via the browser the "missed" emails will suddenly appear (showing the time I opened the browser, not what time they were actually sent) and then any future email sent to me that day will be pushed instantly to my device until 8:00AM the next morning, when again they will stop until I access the Internet.

I'm now in the habit of opening up my browser sometime after 8 each day but it's still somewhat annoying. I've tried a few different 4.5 versions and they all act this way. I've tried battery pulls and resending service books. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm on AT&T if that matters.

I was going to say resend the service books but looks like you did it already... try setting up a new email to see if that works... sounds weird...

I had the same problem this morning with my 8700c on AT&T. BB Tech Support person at AT&T had me delete two parts of service books, i.e. files marked "CMIME" and then she re-sent the service books. She then sent test emails to the two addresses. Both came in on the BB, and I responded. Problem fixed.
