Here's my wish list:

• Direct IR in/out
• Full & flawless voice interaction user interface
• Accelerometer
• 8GB device memory (to hold more applications, messages)
• Multiple MicroSD slots (to let me swap in movies/music without disturbing other stored data)
• Dead-reckoning assisted GPS (using magnetic sensors & accelerometer) to allow fairly accurate location awareness when away from satellite coverage; magnetic sensors also allow compass mode when out of satellite range and/or not in motion and can assist navigation applications
• Temperature, humidity and air pressure sensors with readings available to third-party developers
• Biometrics - maybe a combination of speaker recognition and a pass phrase, possibly a fingerprint reader - as an alternative to typing in logins and passwords each time
• 20X optical zoom on the camera
• Proximity-triggered secure car door lock interface
• One button (extended press) fully silent call for help (delivers location and canned message to 911 but doesn't tell bad guys you've done that)
• Night vision mode for camera (for finding people/things in the dark)
• Mirror on battery door (for taking pictures/video of your self or checking for junk in your teeth after lunch)
• Ability to record calls
• Automatic volume adjustment that responds to ambient noise levels
• Ultrasonic mosquito repelling on demand; high-sonic dog-calling feature

Pocket Informant is not yet ready for prime time. They have chosen to keep it from integrating with the built-in calendar and address book, which I don't like. I understand their desire to keep it isolated and stand-alone, but I prefer the integration. I also don't like the layout of the weekly view and the fact that it cannot be customized.
