Nice! I look forward to this since my main computer is a Macbook and it's a pain to try and get to a PC to update my Blackberry.

The only draw back I see for now is the OTA only works for your carrier. No stealing another carriers OS via OTA which would be nice but I am not complaining.

At this point it only does certain modules. It took 15 minutes start to finish.

I was thinking that it would updates components rather than entire OS!

Do you think then that we will ever have to connect to pc to do a complete reload of an OS?

At this point yes the OTA delivery of OS is not complete. In the future I would say you would not have to. Just like the Sidekick has done for 6 years.

What? I didn't know sidekick did that! Again sidekick has been hacked sliced an diced.

I look farward to those days but then again what will we ever have to help with on bbf then?

Yes Sidekick is 100% OTA OS updates from day one. Have to give Danger a little credit.

That was pretty much the only good thing about Sidekicks, speaking as someone who used to use them and then saw the light with BlackBerry.
