Default My impression of the Storm

Please Login to Remove!

So I received my Vodafone Storm on Friday, got it from a friend that lives in the UK.

After the OOH and AAh factor wore of so did my like for the unit.

My biggest problem was that the keys on the corners of the screen were too hard to "press", Battery life was eh and it felt way to bulky and lagged too much.

As of now I'm back to my Bold and waiting for a new curve whenever that is released.

For those of you who may ask if you can buy the Storm, I gave it to my buddy's girlfriend.

I just tried it at Verizon, DEFINITELY half baked. I'm also a very impatient person and was annoyed by the web browser With both the data speed and the OS speed. The pages actually downloaded fast on 3g but the browser took WAY too long to display them! The typing was quite annoying, but I fully understand that it requires a learning curve.

Sorry, I'm not a review nerd, as I am just following my girlfriend through the mall while I type this,

My summary: a physical slide out keyboard and more beefy processor would make this a slam dunk for RIM.

The more i use it the more i like it. I think its important for people t understand what they are buying. you cant think of it as the new blackberry i have to get it. It is what it is. A touchscreen blackberry. If you dont like touchscreens you are not going to magically like the storm. If you love your bold - keep it. This is a different product.

Feature wise it is more awesome than any other blackberry.. But I think that it needs an OS upgrade of some sort like everyone has been saying
